About Us and Our Mission

Founding

The Ashland High School Alumni Soccer Association was founded in 2006 by Ashland Graduates Jonathan Alves (class of 2004) and Luis Goncalves (class of 2001) with the first Annual Alumni versus Varsity Scrimmage.

Since then, three Ashland versus Hopkinton Alumni Soccer Games have been held, the weekend after Thanksgiving, with the first in 2007. By 2010, the Association intends to have achieved 501(c)3 status, as a Non-profit Charitable Association. The Association will plan to offer a scholarship to a graduating Ashland Varsity Soccer senior in the Spring of 2011.

Mission

AHS Alumni Soccer strives to build a brotherhood of Ashland Soccer Alumni that is both a network of athletes and friends, while simultaneously establishing links between current high school and youth players via summer clinics, scholarships (to be first awarded in 2011), and in creating an healthy atmosphere for the continued development of Ashland Soccer.
